Exciting times ahead

There is a lot happening which the Centre is involved in, and I wonder how much to tell you at this stage! So as not to overload you, I’ll keep to what needs pushing and tease you with the rest. There will be more news in next Sunday’s newsletter I’m sure.

Next week the opening times at the Centre are as follows:

On Thursday, James and Helen Charles are with us. They are both trained nurses, and Helen in particular is just completing training in different therapies and is looking for case studies. More details of that are on their page, if you’d like to help her out and take advantage of a cut-price therapy.

Otherwise, therapies always available with Chris are Reiki, crystal healing, chakra balancing and aromatherapy treatments. In addition to the NYR Organic mini-facials, she is putting together a couple of luxury treatments to rejuvenate you for that extra special Christmas party. Details will be available in next week’s blog.

I’ve already sold plenty of gift vouchers. As a special offer for people reading this blog, if you buy two full-price vouchers at £40 each, I will give you one for a half-session at £25! You can treat yourself or give it to a friend, I don’t mind – as long as you use it by the end of March next year.

On Wednesday 18 November between 10 and 4, Irena Bee will be with us, offering Tarot readings for £20. She is the only Tarot reader I trust to give me accurate and insightful readings, and her background as a life coach also helps her ask the right questions. Contact the Centre to book.

I’m afraid we’ve had to cancel Saturday 14 November, 10 – 5pm Let’s Keep Essential Oils Simple! but we have got something exciting in the pipeline for February next year. Let’s just say, if you are an aromatherapist, you will have the opportunity to take your practice to the next level.

Thursday 19 November, 9.30 – 12.30 Holding Difficult Conversations This course is aimed at anyone who has to have the sort of conversations that keep you awake at night – and I guess that means all of us! Jill from On-Target Training will take you through a Plan of Action to successfully manage the situation. Saturday 21 November, 10.30 – 5.30 Awakening the Violet Flame chakra with Saint Germaine and Lady Portia. This is important for all who wish to prepare for the energies which are to be grounded into the Earth in 2016. Lorraine Dolan has been working with these ascended masters on bringing these energies and they will come first to those with this chakra activated. Wednesday 2 December, 7 – 9pm An Evening with Jon Sabin. This is the first in our “An Evening With” series, in which leading figures in the spiritual world tell us how they started working with Spirit, answer questions and give information. Thursday 3 December, 6 – 8 pm our Ascension group meets, cost £15. Lorraine wrote us a blog post on what happens in this group. I attended it myself last week and thoroughly enjoyed it, can completely recommend it to you. Payment on the night please.

Friday 4 December – Sunday 6 December Angelic Reiki with Lorraine Dolan. Now Lorraine and I had a chat about this course last week, as it is an important one to run, and we agreed to reduce the price to £299! Saturday 12 December 10 – 1 Introduction to Mindfulness with Daniel Browne. This workshop will provide an introduction to mindfulness. You will discover what mindfulness is and explore how it can help you in every day life with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, negative thought patterns and troublesome emotions. The second half of the workshop will introduce you to the practice of mindfulness, with guided mindfulness techniques to help you relieve tension, relax, boost focus and experience calm. There will also be time for questions and discussions throughout the workshop.

As a thank you for attending the workshop, you will be gifted with an introduction to mindfulness guide and a mindfulness CD to aid your continued practice at home. (Not bad for only £10 eh!)

No previous experience of mindfulness is required and all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be available, including a selection of teas, coffees and cold drinks.

Other News

The Centre now has a stock of salt lamps, both electric and tea light lamps are available for collection only from the Centre. Prices from £5 to £45.

I can now take payment by credit or debit card at the Centre, which is a relief, as I managed to get the card reader up and running and connected to my bank account despite not having a teenager present to help with the technology! The next step is to connect the card reader to the website because…

I’m setting up a webshop on the website! You’ll be able to buy the salt lamps, crystals and other products online, and also I hope you’ll be able to book onto the courses via the webshop, which means you won’t be paying a booking fee. More on that next week.

For the first half of next year, we have lots of very different courses, from Buteyko breathing to The Balance Procedure and Expansion through Colour. You will be able to book places on these from December onwards.

So you see, the preparation and creation at the Centre is ongoing through November. If you haven’t already been, just let me know when you’re coming and I’ll put the kettle on!
