Therapists who wish to hire a room at the Centre are welcome to enquire. We will need a copy of your relevant qualifications and current insurance certificate to keep on file at the Centre.
For hires starting after 1 November 2017, the rate for hiring a therapy room is £10 per hour, for hires up to 8 hours. For hires over 8 hours long, the rate is capped at £75 and this will give you one room for up to 10 hours in one day: however, you must give at least one week's notice if you wish to hire the room after 4pm. This rate includes all linen and associated services. We will have your room cleaned and set up for you at the start of each day.
If you want to use your own linen and equipment, we can offer you a special rate of £50 per day as there will be no washing implication.
If you are offering case study hours (i.e. you need a certain amount of practice hours to gain a qualification) and are unable to charge, then we will ask that you ask your clients to pay at least the £10 room hire charge: you can add a small fee on for yourself too. If you are allowed to charge, then we ask for £10 room hire fee and you can charge your clients whatever you are allowed to.
If you wish to book a block of time, say a day a week for 2 months, then we will specifically market your therapy and advertise your presence on our website.
The opportunity exists for therapists to hire a room on a longer term basis too. £200 will give you a room for a week, while £800 will give you a room for a calendar month. If you wish to set up an automatic payment, you can have a 10% discount on the above prices.
Payment is required in advance. For a block booking, you are asked to pay 4 weeks in advance, and then to confirm your subsequent hire period from week 3 of the booking with your advance payment. Please note no booking will be confirmed until we have received and processed your payment. It is up to you to confirm your continued hire with the Centre Manager: if we have not received your payment by the start of the 4th week of your hire period, we will assume you are not continuing your hire. If your clients make use of the card payment facility at the Centre, then a system is in place for your room hire to be taken off the receipts from your clients and what is left will be recharged to your account. A statement will be issued during the first fortnight of each month.
You are required to take any waste you have generated with you when you leave at the end of each session.
