I think it’s complete at last!
Today I put the last piece of furniture in the Centre and hubby hung the clocks on the wall. Yup, I think that’s it now: the Clinic is complete!
Oh but I just need an electronic couch…
Now my mother did tell me that the trick in a lot of things, whether it’s make-up, dressing or furnishing is to know when to stop. And hubby did mention that he thought the Centre was just this side of looking cluttered! So time to stop. I might do a little pruning around the edges, there’s a beautiful chest of linen drawers that are now surplus to requirements and that might go back to the Cat in the Hat because I can’t fit them in my own house…
and a lovely picture donated by a spiritual medium which needs to go somewhere but I can’t decide where…
oh my goodness really I need to stop!
I might seriously get rid of some of the furniture though. It’s not as if I’ve had any of it a long time…
The trouble with the furniture, is that I personally chose all of it, it’s not something I just went round Ikea and got from a list, every piece spoke to me and said “you want me, I’ll be really nice for your centre”, so I bought it (or had it given to me in some cases). And I do love old furniture.
