The Warm Bamboo Massage course will develop the skills and knowledge required in the Beauty/Nail and Complementary Therapy industry.

Using the warm bamboo rods with oils allows the rods to glide along the body giving a relaxing massage with deep tissue techniques. As a therapist this treatment will allow you to perform deep muscle movements, with less strain on your hands & wrists, longer term preventing RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury).
Within this course you will learn how to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene, consult with your client and be able to prepare yourself and client, gain knowledge and practical skills how to carry out the recognised techniques, involving the fusion of heat, use of bamboo rods for deep massage, safe use of warm bamboo equipment. Use different consultation techniques to identify client treatment needs, identify contra-indications/contra-actions, advice on aftercare and home care.
You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety whilst working in the hair and beauty industries and develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills to a high occupational level.
You will also need to maintain your personal appearance and good communication with the client. This accredited course is in compliance to the Hair and Beauty National Occupational Standards and is accredited by ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists) for membership and insurance purposes
