This waxing training course is accredited by ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists) and will develop the skills and knowledge required to professionally and safely carry out treatments on clients.

Within this course your will learn how to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene, be able to prepare for waxing treatments, prepare themselves, client and work, use suitable consultation techniques to identify treatment objectives, carry out necessary tests prior to the treatment, provide clear recommendations to the clients, select products, tools and equipment to suit client treatment needs. Use different consultation techniques, identify the different types of waxing methods and products, identify contra-indications/contra-actions, advice on aftercare and home care.

Through home study you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety whilst working in the hair and beauty industries and develop an underpinning knowledge and understanding of the practical skills to a high occupational level.

You will also need to maintain your personal appearance and good communication with the client. This accredited course is in compliance to the Hair and Beauty National Occupational Standards and is accredited by ABT (Association of Beauty Therapists) for membership and insurance purposes.
